Molly was raised in Pennsylvania. Molly began her professional life when she was thirteen in the Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her nomination was for a Barrymore Award nominee for her part as Little Red Ridinghood at the Arden Theater's production of Into the Woods. She portrayed the same role in Into the Woods in Broadway aged 15, and earned a Drama League Award nomination. Molly also appeared in Broadway for the production in Fiddler on the Roof. When she graduated from Princeton University, where she was awarded the degree of B.A. in Religion, and was a Triangle Club member, Molly was a student at Princeton University. in Religion. While she was in college, Molly made her acting debut as a character in Disney College Road Trip playing Wendy Greenhut. After graduation Molly appeared in a variety of Off-Broadway productions, including End Days at Ensemble Studio Theater and also in TV shows, including Royal Pains and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly participated in the 2007 Barrington Stage Company production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee as well as in the Westport Country Playhouse's 2010 staging of The Diary of Anne Frank in which she played Anne. Molly is best known for her role in the 2010 movie Paranormal Activity 2 in which she plays teenage daughter Ali as well as the ABC comedy created by Jack Burditt, and starring Tim Allen entitled Last Man Standing
