Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress from America. Her most well-known role is her role as Skyler White in The AMC show Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Other roles she has played include Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. Her passion for acting at Preparatory school and then moved to Ohio with her family in mid-70s. She took classes at Northwestern University to study theatre and was also a student at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career in Chicago-area theatres for several years. Her next move was to TV and film. Anna's first role of note was Arden, in Down the Shore. She made an appearance in 29 episodes. In the early 90s she was a frequent guest on both films and television, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. In 2008, she was as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully and Deadwood are also among the highlights of her professional career. Gunn is also a part of the stage in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. In addition, she was a part of Numbered Days, a show consisting of four audio plays. Breaking Bad's story is often focused on the relationship between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their strained relationship. The strained relationship and ending of it all resemble the final years in Walter White's story.
