Jamie Colby
Colby is a National News Correspondent, and Anchor for Fox News. He has been working for the company since July 2003. Before becoming a part of FOX News Channel, Colby was a reporter at CNN and was an anchor and reporter for CBS News and as fill-in anchor of CBS' Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is a lawyer licensed to be a lawyer in New York, California, Florida and the District of Columbia. She has won awards such like The Edward R. Murrow National Award in 2002, for her coverage of the September 11 attacks; the Gracie Award for investigative reporting in 2000; and she was awarded the Clarion Award from the Association for Women in Communications. The award also included her as Television Week's "Rising News Star To Be Watching". Colby additionally worked as an attorney for a private law practice throughout her 10-year tenure. The law firm was founded by Colby when she was a Hollywood production company assigned her The Tonight Show. She was 22 when she began working as a reporter for Johnny Carson during his contract renewal with NBC and during the divorce. Colby is host and reporter of Strange Inheritance, a show on Fox Business, covering quirky or unexpected legacy left by family or friends.
