Alison Doody
Alison Doody was born in Dublin in 1966. She was raised in an affluent family. The youngest of the children of three. She was a student at a nunnery in the early years, where she discovered a love in the arts. Later, she studied at Dublin's National College of Fine Arts of Dublin but left due to the fact that she was lacking motivation. It was her idea to take a break in order to regain familiar with the area. When she was with her friends at a cafe where a photographer walked in, she was inquired if she would like to model. Because she thought she could earn some extra cash from this, she jumped at the chance. Modelling was both fun and lucrative, and very soon she did it professionally. Modeling contracts lead to commercial projects which took her throughout the world. After seeing her acting work and being urged to get into modeling. After she turned 19 the casting director accompanied her to London where she immediately won an audition to be a part of A View to a Kill, the latest James Bond film. Her passion for acting inspired her to take up acting as a profession. She directed TV dramas both in London and Dublin in the wake of her debut movie. However, her most memorable break came when she got a role as the lead in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in the role of Aryan seductress who was the Dr. Elsa Schneider.
